Drawing is a powerful communication, alignment and thinking tool, and it can help you gain clarity and become a more effective PM:
1. Drawing as a powerful tool in managing product development: Storyboarding, Wireframing, Brainstorming, Algorithm development
2. In an interactive session: (re)learn the drawing basics (shapes, mentalities and principles) that you should use in your daily PM job and learn how and when to apply them to everyday PM work
3. Test your new knowledge and put your skills to practice: Visualize a Ted Talk together
4. Outcomes that Julia is following:
Part 1: Learn how to use drawings in all stages of the Product Development process
Part 2: Learn and practise the basics of drawings (basic shapes, prioritisation of the most important things etc.)

Julia is a Product Manager with a passion for drawing. She’s currently working at Google as a PM, focusing on creating age-appropriate and delightful experiences for kids & families. Previously, she worked as a more technical PM at Careem by Uber, in Pre-Sales at Salesforce, and on B2B products at SAP in Silicon Valley. Regardless of her career path, drawing remains her superpower.
In her free time, Julia loves to draw, creating real-time sketch notes for discussions and presentations. She has even authored two children’s books. To her, drawing is more than just a hobby; it’s a powerful tool that she believes can help all Product Managers excel in their roles.
